Lovely canyon particularly during foliage season (Oct 5 - Oct 20). First mile it is an lush nature valley. After that it is a narrows.

Beautiful walk to the canyon. The creek was running so it was very lush with lots of birds. The canyon does narrow but I wouldn't call this a slot canyon. I walked for 2 miles before it really started to narrow then was able to go on for another mile until there was huge boulders blocking the way. Since I was alone I wasn't willing to try to get over them but I'm sure it could be done and you could continue on.

Beautiful hike. It isn't as pretty as Kanarraville Falls but it is not nearly as crowded either. The canyon is a great mixture of red rock and green trees.

This is a hidden gem in southern Utah. The best thing about this trail is that it isn't very well known, so often you will go hiking here and only see one or two other people on the trail at a time (if that). Many other trails in this area are overcrowded. This hike is good any time of the year - but it's incredible for a summer hike because there is plenty of shade once you get into the slot canyon. The first mile is in a dry valley but after that you walk through a canyon (see the picture) that goes on for what seems like forever. There are also nice camping spots inside, but you have to know where to look to find them. Depending on the time of year a creek runs through the narrows - perfect for cooling off! However, you can avoid getting your feet wet easily if you want.

Easy beautiful hike, water, trees, canyon, and red rock. Lots of shade great place to beat the heat.
